Lavorare insieme in spazi coworkingDespite its numerous benefits (of which we have already discussed in this article), working in a shared office is not easy, as you have to deal with different people, from young entrepreneurs, to freelancers and professionals, each one with his own habits and behaviors.

The rules within a co-working space are basically the same of those followed in a traditional office.
For tips on how to work in a positive environment by sharing services and spaces, keep reading.
1-    BE RESPECTFUL OF PEOPLE’S SPACE
always bear in mind the catchphrase “treat others the way you want to be treated”. Try not to create confusion both at your workplace and in shared spaces. Avoid messy workstations because if there are neatnicks around, they could not appreciate sheets of paper piled up or even tons of Post-it notes stuck everywhere. If it happens to use the kitchen clear it out. Your colleagues will be grateful and you can nip any arguments or resentments in the bud.
2-    QUIET PLEASE!
making to much noise can result in a lack of attention. If you have to make any telephone calls or holding a meeting use the dedicated areas, making sure to book the meeting room in advance. At the same time, if listening to some background music can help you improving your performance, then it’s better to use hearphones.
3-    BE POLITE
try to be friendly to your co-workers, greeting them with a smile, showing kindness to them and socializing in the nick of time, for example during a coffee break.
4-    ASK FOR HELP AND OPEN YOURSELF TO CRITICISM
one of the advantages of a co-working solution is undoubtedly the chance to gain experiences from other professionals. Among your co-workers you could find seasoned veterans, who may give you the proper input to problems you can come up to. Don’t be afraid of asking for help and above all be humble and open yourself to constructive criticism.
5-    WATCH OUT FOR PRIVACY!
Avoid being officious and meddling with other people’s work. It can be really annoying. Take your chance to get to know other people during coffee or lunch breaks. Those are the best moments for sharing ideas.
6-    TEMPERATURE
Temperature is commonly known as one of the main problem you can come up to in offices. There are people complaining about hot also in January and others instead, who’s cold even though it’s 40 degree Celsius outside. It’s therefore highly recommended to adjust temperature wearing several layers of clothing so that to face any circumstances.
