3 – Cookies related to the integration of third-party applications

A&B Services may include third-party software applications on the Site, which allow the user to share the content of the Site with other users or to inform other users about the visit or the opinion regarding such content. It’s the case, in particular, of the buttons“Share” and“like” on social networks (like Facebook, Twitter, etc.). The social networks that provide these buttons could use them to identify the user, even if the user has not clicked them during the visit to the Site.

In fact, this kind of buttons could allow the social network to track navigation on the Site, simply because the user logged in to his account on the social network from his device (cd. open session) during the visit to the Site. A&B Services has no control over the processes used by social networks to collect information related to the user’s visit or other related personal data. Please consult the personal data protection policies of these social networks in order to understand the purposes for which the collection of navigation data takes place through the buttons mentioned above, especially as regards advertising purposes.

4 – Choices regarding cookies
There are several ways to manage cookies.

The settings chosen by the user may change the browsing experience and the conditions of access to certain services that use cookies. You can express or modify your choices regarding the use of cookies at any time, as described below.

4.1 – Options available through the browser

You can configure your browser to allow cookies to be stored on your device, to automatically reject them or to reject some of them. It is also possible to configure the browser to display the request for acceptance or refusal of cookies before the cookie is installed. For more information, see section c) “How to exercise choices in browser”.

(a) Acceptance of cookies

The user can decide whether or not to accept the installation of cookies on their device. The user is free to make his choice and change it at any time through the settings of the browser used on the device. If the browser is set to accept the installation of cookies on the user’s device, the cookies used by the visited web pages will be stored temporarily in a dedicated space of the user’s device. They will only be readable by the user who installs the cookie.

(b) Refusal of cookies

In case the user chooses to refuse the installation of cookies on his device, or in case of removal of cookies already stored, it will not be possible to use the necessary functionality to navigate within certain sections of the Site. This is the case, for example, for some content or services that require you to log-in for access. In addition, in relation to technical compatibility, it may be impossible to recognize the type of browser used by the user on his device, the default language or the country from which the terminal is connected. If the browser is set to refuse the installation of cookies on the device, A&B Services assumes no responsibility for the reduced functionality of the services resulting from the failure to authorise the storage and display of the information necessary for the full functioning of the Site and its services.

(c) How to make choices in the browser
